Gentin Podiatry and Physiotherapy is a highly specialised clinic consisting of over 40 years experience of podiatry and physiotherapy practice.
Our physiotherapists use a whole body, whole person approach to treatment. The goals of our physiotherapists are to rehabilitate and improve a person’s ability to move and function. Our dedicated hands-on manual therapists help diagnose conditions, educate patients, relieve symptoms and look to address the factors that may be contributing to the injury.
Our physiotherapists understand the body’s complex connections and therefore complete a comprehensive assessment, which allows them to have a clear diagnosis and understanding of the patient’s condition. Our physiotherapists use their clinical expertise and the latest research to work with our patients to achieve their health care and body goals.
At Gentin Podiatry and Physiotherapy we specialise in the area of lower limb injuries, child development, injury prevention and chronic pain management through movement.
The high motivation and particular interest of our Physiotherapists have arisen from their personal experiences as elite athletes; training hard and having to overcome personal injuries and pain, as well as professionally, their extensive experiences working in rehabilitation programs with top surgeons, doctors, podiatrists and movement specialists, applying advanced technologies and holistic methods to improve a person’s ability to move and function.
At Gentin Podiatry and Physiotherapy we do this through our exceptional ability to assess poor movement and produce specific physical literacy programs for all ages (particularly early childhood development). We currently work in collaboration with the Australian Snow Sports Academy, and schools in the Eastern Suburbs to implement body strong initiative programs that focus on building strength, balance, coordination and good fundamental movement patterns in an interactive and engaging environment.
