Leonard Gentin undertook a procedure on my toe nail with great care and professionalism. He was quick, careful and thorough explaining what was going on and clear about aftercare and follow up. I did not experience any subsequent pain which was a surprise. I would highly recommend Leonard and his practice for any podiatry procedures.

Professional and friendly practice and reasonable cost to have my toe and heel pain fixed. Leonard and Samantha are both great.

With over 18 years of experience helping people move better and feel stronger, Sean is a physiotherapist who cares about achieving lasting results — not just a quick fix. Graduating from the University of Otago in 2007, Sean combines the Mulligan Concept (Mobilisations with Movement) and the Key Approach to restore movement, improve function, and reduce pain. His in-depth knowledge of sports injuries, shoulder rehabilitation, and lower limb biomechanics allows him to design treatment plans that are practical, effective, and tailored to each individual.

Sara Gentin

Physiotherapist

With a background as a national-level swimmer and triathlete, Sara brings a clear understanding of how the body performs under pressure – and what it takes to recover well. She blends her physiotherapy training with a strong interest in movement, health, and fitness to help people build resilience rather than chase short-term fixes. Drawing on her own experience with sports injuries, Sara focuses on practical, tailored treatment that improves performance, reduces discomfort, and supports long-term wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?

In most cases, no. You can usually book directly without a referral. If you’re claiming through Medicare, NDIS, workers’ compensation, CTP, or private health insurance, a referral or specific paperwork may be required depending on the scheme and your insurer.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the treated area. For lower-limb issues, shorts or leggings that you can roll up are ideal. For back, neck, or shoulder concerns, a t-shirt or singlet works well. If you’re coming from work or school, wear what you can—your physiotherapist will help make it work.

A standard physiotherapy session usually takes around 45 minutes. This allows enough time for a thorough assessment, discussion of your concerns, and a personalised treatment plan.

If you booked through our online booking system, you can change or reschedule your appointment online using the confirmation email/SMS link (or by logging back into the booking portal).

If you can’t access the link, or you booked by phone/email, just contact the clinic and the team can help you reschedule: +61 (02) 9387 3174 or physiotherapy@gentinfeet.com.au

It depends on your condition, how long you’ve had symptoms, your goals, and how consistently you can follow your program. After your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will outline a recommended plan.

Yes, our clinic is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring all patients can comfortably access our facilities and receive care. Walk-ins are welcome, and we also offer home or care facility visits for patients who need support in their own environment.
